Dr. Claudia Lee received her Honours Bachelor of Science as well as her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo. She graduated on the Dean’s Honour’s List, and received the FYidoctors Clinical Leadership Award, the Dr. Stanley Pearle Scholarship, and the Walman Optical Scholarship, all of which are awarded in recognition of leadership, academic achievement, and commitment to community service.
Dr. Lee provides family and pediatric eye care, glasses and contacts, emergency services, and management of eye disease such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and dry eye disease. She is happy to provide pre- and post-op cataract and laser surgery care. Dr. Lee also has a special interest in Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy. She was trained at the Vision Institute of Canada, where she helped children and adults suffering from eye movement and alignment disorders. She is passionate about helping children with learning-related vision problems and visual perceptual difficulties which prevent them from reaching their full potential. If your child is struggling at school, ask Dr. Lee why being able to "see 20/20" is not enough!
Dr. Claudia Lee looks forward to taking care of you and your family in Durham.
