The Government of Ontario and our Regulatory College have given us the green light to reopen both our clinics to Routine Care starting Wednesday June 3rd at 830 am! During this first phase, we will function a little differently than prior to COVID-19. We have taken every precaution to comply with all Provincial COVID-19 regulations as set out by the Ministry of Health, and the College of Optometrists of Ontario. Although some policies and procedures have changed for the time being, we assure you our great customer service and genuine care has not changed. We are here for you.
In order to observe physical distancing, we will be limiting the number of people allowed inside the doors. We will have two team members (outside when weather permits) at the front entrance welcoming everyone, screening patients prior to entering and offering curbside adjustments for all the patients who picked up glasses without a fitting , or whose glasses have become uncomfortable or require a repair. Please note: call ahead before you come as appointments are strongly recommended for all eye exams, glasses fittings, repairs, and adjustments. We will continue to offer curbside pick up of our pharmaceutical products and can have contact lenses shipped directly to you free of charge. Virtual tele-optometry will still be offered and required for certain urgent ocular concerns.
To protect our patients, staff and doctors, it is mandatory to wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose for anyone above the age of 2. If you do not have a mask, you can purchase one from us for a loonie.
In order to keep time spent in the office to a minimum, some questions normally asked upon arrival will now be conducted over the phone before you arrive. We ask each patient coming in for an eye exam to fill out a history form detailing your main concerns for the visit.
Please check our website regularly for updates and the latest information.
We look forward to welcoming you back into our buildings!!
